Coach service

We will be providing a coach service from Winchester for guests who are staying in the city. There'll be a return coach back to Winchester at the end of the evening. If you are interested, please indicate this when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Taxi service

If you are planning to book a taxi, we strongly recommend arranging this well in advance. There are a limited number of taxis in the area and you will not be able to order one on the night of the wedding. Mobile signal at the venue can also be unreliable.

Local tips

Winchester is a beautiful city with plenty to see and do. If you're making a weekend of it, here are a few of our recommendations.

The Night Before

If you are staying in Winchester the Friday night, we would recommend booking a table at one of the local restaurants. Our favourites are Chesil Rectory, The Wykeham Arms or The Ivy.

Breakfast spots

If you are looking for breakfast the morning of the wedding day or the morning after, we would highly recommend either The Winchester Orangery or Josie's.

Things to do in town

If you have a bit of time to explore, Winchester Cathedral is well worth a visit, and the independent shops along the Winchester High Street are perfect for a wander.
